Apr 25, 2012 - StaffFuneral services for Edna M. Lamb, of Riverton, are at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Burial will be at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.
A viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lamb, 88, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital.
Edna M. Pflaum was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Elm Creek, Neb., the daughter of Charles Fredrick and Mae Adeline (Parker) Pflaum. She attended schools in Elm Creek.
Mrs. Lamb had lived in Riverton for three and a half years, making her home at the Sertoma Apartments at 526 N. Sixth St. East.
On June 12, 1942, she married Orville Ben Lamb in Phillipsburg, Kan.
She worked for the Converse County Coalition in Douglas and then at the Wyoming State Training School in Lander for 13 years.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Mrs. Lamb was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Her family said she enjoyed her family, gardening, camping, boating and flowers.
Survivors include a son, Orville Paul Lamb and his wife Lorraine of Riverton; two daughters, Yvette Laree Adams and her husband Orville of Riverton and Annita Lynn Fisk and her husband Clifford of Sheridan; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes May Webel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Ben Lamb; a daughter, Hellen Marie Lamb, and two grandsons, Robert Everett Fisk and Michael Lee Adams.
