Clarence Leonard Parker

Clarence Leonard Parker died at his home at the Owl Creek Apartments in Riverton on Sunday, April 15.

He was 82 years old.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.

Clarence Leonard Parker was born in Hemmingford, Neb., on Sept. 8, 1929, the son of Clarence Leslie Parker and Mary Margaret (Powell) Parker.

He grew up on the family farm near Fort Washakie and was graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander.

Mr. Parker was involved in the dairy processing industry, working for Morning Star Dairy and then Cream O' Weber, retiring after 25 years. He was a 10-year member of the Wyoming National Guard.

He married Betty Lee Reddon in 1949.

Mr. Parker was of the Episco-palian faith.

His family said he enjoyed hunting, reading, puzzles, and was a fan of the Denver Broncos.

Survivors include his son, Gary Parker, and wife Linda of Search Light, Nevada; grandchildren Greg and Dawn Parker of Riverton. and Andy and Christine Walthers of Kingman, Ariz.; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Forrest, Glen, and Leslie Parker; a sister, Carol Parker; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, and a daughter, Susan Parker.

Memorials may be made to the Tough Enough Cancer Fund, in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501 (, which is in charge of local arrangements.
