May 2, 2014 - From staff reportsThree Central Wyoming College undergraduate research students were awarded scholarships at the University of Wyoming Undergraduate Research Day.
Tyler Graham, Rachel Lamb and Russell Goff were three of seven UW-community college transition scholars awarded scholarships for continued studies at UW in the fall. The students will receive up to $2,500 each semester to attend UW to pursue degrees and receive training in UW research laboratories.
Graham, Lamb and Goff join previous CWC transition scholars Kellie Niemeyer and Tetiana Hutchison who will graduate from UW this spring. Niemeyer plans to enroll in a dental school while Hutchison has been accepted to Southern Methodist University's graduate school of biology.
