Kenneth "Butch" Trosper Sr., 75, of Ethete, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Wind River Healthcare and Rehabilitation. An evening service will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow at 22 Thunder Lane.A funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at Blue Sky Hall.Interment will be in Friday Cemetery. Services provided by Wind Dancer Funeral Home.

SHERROW

Bruna Mary (Seghetti) Sherrow, 89, of Lander, passed away Sept. 30, 2017, at her daughter's home in Lander. A Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m., both in the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.

MUSIC

Larry Duane Music died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, in Casper. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home in Lander, with visitation to begin at 9 a.m. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery with a luncheon afterwards.

The Riverton Wednesday Farmers Market is 5-7 p.m. at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and North Eighth Street West. 856-4801.

Thursday, October 5

The 8th annual tribal farmer's market will be held every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. until Oct. 12. They will be held on a rotating basis in three reservation communities:

• Fort Washakie - Post Office parking lot

(Located across from the Joint Tribal Building, turn left at the Tribal Gas Station.)

• Ethete - Blue Sky Hall parking lot

(Located at the corner of the stoplight, across from the Ethete Store.)

• Arapahoe - Great Plains parking lot

(Located just off of 17 Mile Road, west of the Health Center.)

Fees are $5 per day for vendors or $20 per season and $30 for out-of-state truck sales. Tables will not be provided. Pre-registration and payment in advance is encouraged but not required. In Riverton Police Department weekend reports through Monday:

•Carlos Barrera, 19, of Riverton, was cited at about 2:40 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Monroe Avenue for minor in possession.

• Josiah Arthur, 19, of Ethete, was cited at about 5:10 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of South Federal Boulevard for minor in possession.

• Police responded at about 10:05 a.m. Friday to reports that a fence had been damaged in the 800 block of East Monroe Avenue. About $50 in damage was recorded.

• A 15-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of West Sunset Drive for use of marijuana.

• Two subjects were trespassed at about 12:20 p.m. Friday from a business in the 500 block of East Main Street.

• A woman was trespassed at about 2:35 p.m. Friday from a residence in the 2500 block of East Monroe Avenue.

• Police responded at about 2:45 p.m. Friday to reports that a handgun had been stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of North Sixth Street East.

• Police responded at about 3:10 p.m. Friday to reports that camera and radio equipment had been stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of North Sixth Street East.

• Doug Bigmedicine, 39, of Ethete, and Rosita Piper, 30, of Ethete, both were arrested at about 5:20 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard on municipal warrants.

• Brian Bell, 46, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:45 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication.

• Wilford Hill, 25, of Ethete, was arrested at about 10 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Spire Drive on a municipal warrant. Officials were responding to reports of a fight; they said Hill was highly intoxicated and "trying to get someone to fight with him."

• Police responded at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday to reports of a hit and run incident in the 600 block of North Eighth Street West. Minor damage was recorded to a vehicle parked in front of the reporting party's residence.

• Larranna Bixby, 24, of Fort Washakie, was cited at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Third Street East for property destruction. Officials said she broke out some vehicle windows.

• Altan Quiver, 18, of Riverton, was cited at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Main Street for minor in possession.

• Lacy Fox, 23, of St. Stephen's, was arrested at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday on Opal Drive for domestic battery. Officials said she was hitting her husband.

• Police responded at about 5:45 a.m. Saturday to reports that a Samsun cell phone was stolen from a school bus in the Riverton area.

• Stuart C'Hair, 37, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 9 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Main Street for assault and public intoxication. Officials said dispatchers saw him on a surveillance camera "trying to smack people to try to get them to fight with him." No injuries were recorded.

• A $10 knife was reported stolen at about 9 a.m. Saturday from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of East Park Avenue.

• Police responded at about 9:40 a.m. Saturday to reports that a "pile of wallets (and) paperwork" had been found in front of a house in the 200 block of Valley Circle. Officials later discovered that the items had been stolen from unlocked vehicles in the 800 block of Rainbow Drive and the 700 block of North Broadway.

• A handgun was reported stolen at about noon Saturday from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Valley Circle.

• A bike was reported stolen at about 12:05 p.m. Saturday from the 100 block of South 10th Street East.

• Ronald Brown, 51, of St. Stephen's, was arrested at about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of East Main Street on a municipal warrant.

• A male was served a no-trespass notice at about 7:10 p.m. Saturday for a business in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard.

• Clement Eagle, 45, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 7:50 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication and trespassing.

• James Goodman, 24, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Broadway for intoxicated pedestrian.

• Mardell C'Bearing, 42, of Ethete, was arrested at about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Spire Drive on a Fremont County warrant.

• A 17-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 10:55 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Main Street for no driver's license and leaving the scene of a crash.

• Riaata Triplett, 18, of Riverton, was cited at about midnight Sunday in the 2600 block of Peck Avenue for minor in possession.

• A 14-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 3 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of North Federal Boulevard for stealing a $79 cell phone.

• Wendall Antelope, 39, of Riverton, and Agnes Addison, 39, of Arapahoe, both were arrested at about 6:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Main Street on municipal warrants.

• Kelly Osborn, 53, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Federal Boulevard on a Fremont County warrant.

• Raymond Antelope, 31, of Riverton, and Rachel Antelope, 34, of Riverton, both were arrested at about 2:15 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of College Hill Drive on municipal warrants.

• A computer was reported stolen at about 7:15 a.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of East Jackson Avenue.

• Brian Bell and Forrest Duran, both 46 and from Riverton, both were arrested at about 4 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Main Street for public intoxication.

• Leon Spoonhunter, 31, of Riverton, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of North Broadway for battery on a household member. Minor injuries were recorded.

• Registration and a vehicle security card were reported stolen at about 5:40 p.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Aspen Drive.

Marty Moore, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Spire Drive for public intoxication.

• A wallet was reported stolen at about 6:25 p.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Mesquite Circle. The reporting party said the incident took place a couple of nights before.

• Bradley Jones, 28, of Riverton, was arrested at about 8:20 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Federal Boulevard on a municipal warrant.

• Christopher SunRhodes, 63, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:15 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of East Fremont Avenue for public intoxication.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Monday:

•Deputies responded at about 10 a.m. Friday to reports that 60-70 sheep were out in the 2100 block of Missouri Valley Road near Pavillion.

• Dubois Search and Rescue crews responded at about 2:30 p.m. Friday to reports that four subjects were stuck in a vehicle off of Brooks Lake Road northwest of Dubois. The individuals were extracted from the scene, and the vehicle was left to be towed later. Initial reports indicate the white Kia Sorento was stuck in the mud about 10 minutes from the highway.

• Robert Behan, 24, of Riverton, was arrested at about 10:10 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of East Monroe Avenue in Riverton for domestic battery and interference with police. Officials were responding to reports that two men were fighting; reports state Behan struck one of the deputies involved, causing minor injuries.

• Deputies responded at about 4:35 a.m. Sunday to reports that six black cows were walking in the roadway in the 200 block of South Main Street in Hudson.

• Officials said the Bureau of Indian Affairs made an arrest at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report that an intoxicated man was headed towards Hudson and hitchhiking.

• Deputies responded at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday to reports that a cow had run into the side of a truck on Crooks Gap Road near Jeffrey City. The reporting party said the cow was injured but not dead; the white Dodge truck was damaged.

• Jason Bell, 38, of Riverton, was arrested for child abuse.

• Kaleb Bringolf, 20, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for probation revocation.

• Clint Martin, 47, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

• Steven Oldman, 27, of Cheyenne, was arrested for breach of peace and pedestrian under the influence. The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded at about noon Monday to reports that a white sport-utility vehicle had rolled in the 200 block of Sand Draw Road south of Riverton.
