Rams snakebite by Rattlers, 76-0

The Dubois Rams ran into a literal snake pit in Baggs last Friday at the hands of the Little Snake River Rattlers.

The third-ranked and unbeaten Rattlers bit the Rams hard in a 76-0 walloping.Dubois trailed 20-0 after one period and 56-0 at the half in a game that was never close.

The Rams dropped to 0-4 with the loss while the Rattlers are unbeaten at 4-0. It was the first shutout the Rams have suffered this season.

Little Snake River quarterback J.D. Corson had a field day hitting six of seven attempts for 95 yards and four touchdowns.

His favorite receiver was Riggen Myers, who caught a pair of touchdowns and added three more on the ground.

The Rattlers a year's worth of yardage outgaining the Rams 365-90 on the afternoon.

Dubois was unable to generate any significant offensive production and tallied just three first downs on the game.

Connor Hudson paced Dubois offensive with 59 rushing yards, while Warren Johnson gained 34 punishing yards on 13 carries.

The Rams won't find the going any easier next week as they travel to Sweetwater County to face the very talented Farson Eden Pronghorns in continued Class 1-A West 6-man action.

Little Snake River makes the long trek to Washakie County to face the 1-3 Ten Sleep Pioneers in conference action.
