The Riverton Lady Wolverines girls swim team traveled to Worland High School on Saturday and placed fourth out of eight teams participating in the Warrior Invite.
The Lander Lady Tigers easily won the meet with 418.5 points, followed by Powell 371.5, Worland 258.5 and Riverton 241.5.
Individually, Kaylie Gopp won two events, the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke and teammate Josie Dike topped all swimmers in the 200-yard freestyle to lead the Lady Wolverines.
Also finishing in the top eight at the meet were Dike, who placed third in 1-meter diving, Jordan Lewis with a third place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke and a seventh place swim in the 100-yard freestyle, Aspen Treber, fourth in the 500-yard freestyle, Syonia Jordan eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Riverton's best relay finish was a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, less than one second behind champion Lander. Members of the relay squad included Gopp, Treber, Lewis and Dike.
The Lady Wolverines will host Powell and Worland in a triangular swim meet Friday. The meet begins at 4 p.m. at the Riverton Aquatic Center.
