Enough blame for all sides in closure of Safeway storeSep 27, 2017 Diane Tichener, Riverton
On Safeway, I blame both sides. If the store was in so much trouble that it was going to close, the store people should have told the city fathers a long time ago, and the public also. I think if people knew it was closing they could have done something to help.
And also, the first sign that this was happening should have lit a fire under our economic development people and city hall. They should have been responding from the start. I hope some other store opens up there fast. We do not want a big, empty eyesore in the middle of town.
