RHS girls swim in Rawlins

The Riverton Lady Wolverines swim team traveled to Rawlins for a triangular swim meet against Kemmerer and Rawlins last Thursday.

Kaylie Gopp, Josie Dike, Jordan Lewis and Aspen Treber all continue to swim strong for Riverton, as all four swimmers have qualified for the state Class 3-A swim meet in multiple events.

Top-eight finishers in Rawlins included Catlin Bedard (second, 200-yard freestyle and third, 100-yard backstroke), Cheyenne Bryan (first, 500-yard freestyle and fifth, 200-yard freestyle), Syonia Jordan (first, 200-yard individual medley), Dike (first, 50-yard freestyle and first, 1-meter diving), Lewis (first, 100-yard breaststroke and second, 50-yard freestyle), Treber (first, 100-yard freestyle and fifth, 50-yard freestyle), Winter Ridgley (sixth, 100-yard freestyle and eighth, 50-yard freestyle), Ashlyn Bookless (fourth, 1-meter diving), Cheyenne Smith (fifth, 1-meter diving and eighth, 100-yard backstroke), Gopp (first, 100-yard butterfly and first, 100-yard backstroke) and Meeghan Healy (sixth, 100-yard backstroke and seventh, 100-yard freestyle).

The 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams consisting of Gopp, Lewis, Dike and Treber both placed first.

The Lady Wolverines will stay on the road this week with a Friday dual in Lander and a Saturday Invitational in Worland.
