Tracy Troy Spriggs, 55, of Lander WY passed away on August 20, 2017 at his home. A Rosary with a Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday, August 27th at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am on Monday, August 28th at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Tracy Troy Spriggs was born September 29, 1961 to Dean Valley Spriggs and El Frieda Melchardt in Lander, Wyoming. Tracy graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1980 and graduated from WyoTech as a Body, Fender and Paint Technician in 1982. He started his career in Fort Collins, Colorado doing auto body and paint. He later moved back to Lander, where he continued his career over the years working for Rodney Rohn, Fremont Toyota Body Shop, Gene Chopping and Troy VonFeldt. Later, he established his own body shop business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing camping, traveling, auto body and painting.

The most important moment in Tracy's life was when he and Shelly Crerar Spriggs Lewis had their little girl, Shae, who was born in 1995. He enjoyed and loved being a dad.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean V. Spriggs; grandfather, Dean Vance Spriggs; grandmother, Fanchon Spriggs; grandparents Anne and Johan Melchardt.

Survivors include, his parents, Frida and Dean Spriggs; and his daughter, Shaelyn Spriggs.
