Health care repeal would have meant end to insurance

I vote in elections, but I am not a political person. I don't see why my health insurance has become a political issue. What I know is that my insurance agent told me that if the "repeal and replace" of Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) had gone through into law as written, I would have lost my health insurance. Yes, it was getting more expensive for me, but I wouldn't have had any insurance at all otherwise no matter how much I was willing to pay.

That is about more than politics to me, and there are lots of people like me.
